Literally on the side of the road in Byron lies my second kitchen. When I’m too tired to cook, need a bit of nurturing or just want to eat and be around real food, I head down the street; usually on a daily basis!
Run by four locals and staffed by a team that greet the regulars with hugs and kisses, it doesn’t take long to become part of this uniquely Byron mini-community. All food is locally sourced, organic and contains nothing artificial’.
Despite the fact that they make to-die for muffins, raw treats and delicious desserts, you’ll be damned to find a trace of any white sugar on site. All extras’ are house-made, including ferments, pickles, cured fish, non-cow milks and labna/yoghurts. The drinks menu consists of first-class coffee, a range of original tonics and tinctures (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and the daily special board changes with the seasons and highlights local catch and heirloom meats and produce. The best part it’s all made and served with love!
